    awesome.

  2. Xcapist says:

    omg yay..i just bookmarked it

  3. Avtara54 says:

This is so exciting! I had the feeling she and her company would stream it live for her international fans. This streaming will be free, right?

  4. Avtara54 says:

^ Forgot to ask a dumb question: does that mean that those of us who live on the West coast of the US will have to tune in at 2AM?

  5. OMG!!! this shocked me so much! LIVE? are kidding me? OMG!

  6. Skywalker1 says:

YES! This will be amazing!! Can’t wait.

  7. shiawase says:

I can’t believe I’m gonna watch her live!
    …oh
    I can’t believe I’ll have to get up at 5! ._.

I’m way too pumped up and excited for this though, can’t contain myself.

  8. Alex0821 says:

u3music just tweeted “For those who plans to watch the WL on Ustream, we strongly recommend to see if your contract with the carrier is “unlimited usage”

What does this mean?? Is there anything special I have to do to make sure I can watch the whole thing live, ot can I just go to the link you posted and watch it without trouble?

  9. barried says:

When the live stream will begin in Japan time?

  10. StrawberryGlitter says:

    I’m soooooo excited!

@Alex0821 Maybe the message is for people who will watch it on a cell phone or something. If you don’t have unlimited internet usage, watching the whole concert would run up quite a high bill. I’m not positive though… it’s just a guess.

    @barried It’s 7:00 PM Japan time.

Woo hoo! That’s gonna be a great day for me! I’m totally going to go to the konbini to buy a bento and junk food. Relaxing (well, maybe more exciting!) evening for me! :) :) :)

  11. itaikoon says:

WOOT WOOT!!!! This is First time i actually want to get up early. Oh gosh this is sooo so exciting :)

  12. Quasar says:

So, I’m a tad confused on how time conversion works. I’m on the West Coast of the US. What does that mean for me? I know it will be 2am, but 2am Wednesday morning? Please someone clarify for me!

  13. chocolateislove says:

OMG this is so exciting! I’d resigned myself to seeing this online or on DVD, but this is so much better! I’m totally watching this over finals!

  14. StrawberryGlitter says:

@Quasar Yup, 2 AM on Wednesday. The international date line makes things confusing. 2 AM is actually closer to 7 PM than 5 AM, but it’s actually a bigger difference because it’s earlier in the day on Wednesday. Basically the east coast is a time difference of 14 hours (from Japan) and the east coast is a time difference of 17 hours. OK, maybe I just made things more confusing, but yeah… it’s 2 AM on Wednesday. :) This stuff messes with my head too. :P

  15. hiritofatsuge says:

yeah ! this is great i hope if i watch this in live stream i don’t want to shed my tears because this will be the final we will see utada performing after this she will be in long long vacation :)

  16. FiresEmblem says:

Is it going to 6AM for eastern time? I googled it and am slightly confused.

  17. Xcapist says:

    it has begun!

  18. Overklocked says:

This feels so cool seeing something like this live with so many other fans on the Internet!

  19. FiresEmblem says:

    I’m watching! :D
    :)
Does anyone know the details of the other songs she has song before this?

  20. FiresEmblem says:

    Utada’s Crying~ T_T

  21. FiresEmblem says:

    Niji iro basu!!!
    Everybody feels the same!~

  22. atlier00 says:

Thanks Hikki’s staff for making this wonderful live performance and live streaming!

  25. Avtara54 says:

Great performance. You can tell she was feeling a lot of emotions as she sang each song. It’s 4:30 in the morning where I am now, but it was SOOO worth staying up and watching it. Thank you for everything Hikki

  26. mattmattishere says:

Crap i missed it! Since it is a 2 day concert do all of you think they will do another stream?

  27. InnerRise says:

It was possibly the best experience of my entire life thus far.

I’m still walking around crying like a fool. Ha.

Good news is that I heard that the people who bought her Singles Collection Vol. 2 Album can rewatch this Concert on her Website when it’s uploaded there.

Bad news is that I heard that tomorrow’s Concert won’t be streamed. I hope this is incorrect though because I plan on watching it again if it is Streamed Live.

  28. mattmattishere says:

Damn it! I hope that is wrong cuz i was up till like 3:30 and mysteriously drifted off to sleep :( I am so sad about that..

  29. karyuudo says:

It was a great concert and worth waking up @ 4:45am just to make sure I was able to stream capture it.

I’m definitely looking forward to the HD rip from the Sky PerfecTV PPV on January 22nd.

In comparison to her previous concert on DVD (Utada United) I felt that UU was a bit better of an arrangement of her songs. However her singing performance was clearly stronger in this concert.

On a side note: Anyone else notice that she had some trouble with her ear piece?

  30. Thump says:

@karyuudo Really? I thought her vocal performance was much better in Utada United. She was a lot less energetic for this show too, maybe because she was feeling pretty emotional (as I’m sure the rest of us were too). There was such a bittersweet aura with Wild Life, but that was definitely unavoidable.

@Avtara54 Sorry for being finicky, but ‘Across the Universe’ is a Beatles song, not a John Lennon one.

  31. atlier00 says:

Tomorrow’s performance is for the DVD/Bluray recording of the concert. So it won’t be streamed. But a recording of today’s I’m sure is online somewhere right now.

  32. mattmattishere says:

For those who weren’t able to see the concert, your in luck. I found a video for the first 13 mins of it. Please enjoy!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lusn8X794VA

  33. Skywalker1 says:

NOOOO!! I woke up for it, then somehow fell asleep again! T~T I’m so dissapointed with myself! I don’t think I can ever forgive myself for this…

  34. Skywalker1 says:

And to make things worse, she sang Across the Universe on the 30th anniversary of John Lennons death. I hate me. Sorry for the double post. :(

  35. mattmattishere says:

Skywalker i am in the same boat as u :( I am so sad that i didn’t see it too

  36. claza says:

There’s a ripped copy of the webstream floating around.

I loved the concert. I literally yelped like a fangirl when she sang Take 5, Prisoner of Love, and then Beautiful World. That was the ONE thing I wanted since Beautiful World came out – a concert live version… and it was AMAZING.

I can really tell the growth as an artist between UU06 and WL. Yes, she didn’t have the energy high like in UU06, but I have never seen such elegant rocknroll for Show Me Love, and all of the other song, for that matter.

  37. I missed it because of my dance rehearsals for our company Christmas party.. T.T I planned it ahead but I would disappoint my group mates if I’d walk out of the gym and watch the live streaming. Then I chose to disappoint myself instead. Sad.

  38. Skywalker1 says:

Just finished watching it, finally. Amazing concert! I have to admit, I got a little misty eyed more than once. I have to get that version of Across the Universe somehow. It’s a combination of my two favourite musical interests, Utada and The Beatles. Hikki sang that song perfectly btw, best Beatles cover EVER!

  39. shiawase says:

So does anybody knows if she sang the same setlist the second time?

  40. Bubu says:

is anyone surprised and/or disappointed that she didn’t sing any utada’s songs?i admit i am a little..

  41. Skywalker1 says:

@Bubu – I was a little suprised, and a bit disappointed. But over all, I thought that the concert was amazing. I won’t complain about no Utada songs. The songs she did were great.

  42. I also noticed that with the list of the songs sung in WILD LIFE. [This is just me, okay? But] I was actually thinking that it may have something to do with how IDJ and Hikki ended up. IDK. Then knowing that Show Me Love (Not a Dream) was written during the TITO era, the more it made me think that there’s something. I dont know how to say but I… I was just thinking that what if Hikki was telling IDJ “Show me love, not a dream.” That’ll be so… AW!again, that was just crazy me. >.<
