Utada’s official Japanese website has been updated with news that the December 8th “WILD LIFE” concert will be screened live in movie theaters across Japan. The show will be live broadcast in 64 locations on 69 screens for a total of up to 20,000 viewers, making this the largest screening of its kind in Japan. Tickets will be 3,000 yen, and will be available for purchase beginning on November 21st. Exciting news for those in Japan who were unable to get tickets to the live concert.

PRAYING for a DVD release of this as well as TITO as well no matter what else happens. They’re really going all out for the fans, which is fantastic. How many other artists would invest this much thought or effort or money? It’s gonna be a lot of pressure on her to put on a good show, though.

I have never heard of a lIVE screening to a concert before (I know there probably have been with other artists; i just don’t know which) so MAN THIS IS GONNA BE A BANGIN’ GOOD WILD LIFE CONCERT!!!!!! Its for ALL her fans to cherish this moment in time so she’s gonna put all her heart and soul into it. so i hope it does come on DVD sometime in the near future for those who didn’t get an opportunity to see it.

Great news. I agree with what a lot of you are saying, she’s really making an effort to say goodbye with a bang. Hopefully they’ll do a live stream online or something for us international fans.
By the way, does anyone know the projected sales figures of UHSC Vol 2? I mean, I don’t think she has ever promoted an album this intensely before, so I have absolutely no doubts that it will be number one on the charts, and it will most likely sell over 1 million copies. Heck, maybe even 2 million, or (dare I say it?…) 3 million copies? That would be amazing, and truly unprecedented in today’s Japanese music industry. Either way, I have a feeling this release is going to be huge.
According to a roughly translated (google translate is horrid) twitter post of Utada’s, the movie theater tickets have already sold out. Considering it’s around noon on the 21st there, that’s pretty impressive if this ‘does’ happen to be true. According the the twitter post (from what I got out of it) a fan tried to purchase tickets but they were gone within seconds. Then Utada commented “I’m so sorry that someone who truly supports us was unable to receive tickets :-/” paraphrased, but yeah.
I don’t know what her projected sales forecast for UHSC Vol 2 is, but considering all the frequent posts from Utada’s staff on Twitter about Goodbye Happiness and Tokyo Hot 100, I think it’s safe to say Utada finally nabbed the #1 spot with Goodbye Happiness. I can’t confirm it – as the last news I heard said that she was #2 – but again considering the excited posts from Utada’s staff, I think that that’s what happened.
Considering that, and the fact that tickets are already sold out to the 60+ theaters that were available, I think she will definitely have ENORMOUS first week sales for this album. If she gets 1 million+ in the first week I will basically go crazy and rub it in the ‘other’ queens of Jpop’s faces (as much as I love some of them – Utada has, and always will be, my first love – pun intended).

Bad news from all utada fans in philippines single collection vol.2 will not release anymore in the philippines last monday i saw that the single collection will be release on nov 24 2010 in the philippines on wikipedia same date as japan then today i see that philippines had been remove for releasing so i wonder why they don’t release it it’s so sad that her single will not release anymore oh ! like common men i’m waiting for nothing and expecting that
