Utada’s official website has been updated this morning with news that all pre-orders placed before November 14th will receive a bonus DVD featuring the music video for lead single “Goodbye Happiness.” If you haven’t pre-ordered yet, make sure you do so in the next few weeks!
UPDATE: Looks like YesAsia will NOT be receiving shipments of the bonus DVD, but CDJapan will in fact be including the “Goodbye Happiness” DVD on “Single Collection Vol. 2″ orders. Click here to preorder through CDJapan.

I pre-ordered this like a month ago. I still get this DVD, right?
Yeah it’s on all preorders made prior to November 14th, so you should be fine.
It sounds like the DVD jewel case is physically shrinkwrapped to the CD package, so I’m pretty sure all preorders, irregardless of where you ordered from, will include the DVD.
Any word if the album will be released in NA? Canada specifically.
great song ! you’re great hikki
Need to get on this…
I pre-ordered this on YesAsia a month ago as well. Does anyone know if that website will be including the DVD to this as well? I’m just curious because I know YesAsia is based out of Hong Kong. Is all their Japanese stuff is shipped straight from a warehouse in Japan or something?
Oh man. I was gunna wait until I got back to HK for this. But with the PV DVD I might have to preorder it…
@Avtara, If you go on yesasia, on the Japanese version of Single Collection Vol 2, it says, and I quote, “Note: This edition does not include the bonus DVD. “
Crap! I pre-ordered from YesAsia. Man I hope I can cancel it! Also, new PV HURRAH!!!
I really don’t want to have to order from freaking CDJapan to get this PV.
Funny because that message about the DVD on Yesasia wasn’t there last night so I sent them a question about it and now it’s there. Coincidence?
@claza: Damn, that really sucks! EMI should know that YesAsia is a major source of Japanese music for a LOT of people, so they should have included the DVD on there too. Now I might have to pre-order it from CDJapan, which also sucks because it’s so darn expensive to buy stuff from there.
Also, I did go to CDJapan and looked if the bonus DVD is included, and it doesn’t say anything about it. It makes me wonder if the DVD is included only if you pre-order from certain sites ???
D: I preordered mine from YesAsia months ago *dies* Is that why Utada asked on her tweet a while back for where her international fans order her physical releases? That DVD is only for preorders so we may not purchase it. I might just have to watch it on my small laptop screen~ ><"
Update! CDJapan WILL be offering the bonus DVD with the preodorder:
“First Press Details: gatefold cardboard sleeve with sleeve case, kuma charm, and a bonus DVD including the music video for ‘Goodbye Happiness’”.
Just thought I’d post this if anyone was curious. I supposed I’ll be ordering from them now instead of YesAsia :/
Oh shoot, nevermind. I just saw that UBlog has already updated this info. Please disregard my previous post LOL
After all this, I’m glad I waited and didn’t place my pre-oder until all this news was updated; there I would’ve been without the unlikeliest but best bonus of them all arguably (I’m still wondering when and where that “christmas-themed” PV is going to happen)…The tax is ridiculous @ CD Japan yes, but u know when its something by Hikki its more than worth the investment!
I don’t know what the hubbub about there being no bonus DVD from yesasia because I’m looking at my order with yesasia right now and it says “Utada Hikaru Bonus DVD “Goodbye Happiness” 1 1 $0.00 $0.00 Ready and In-stock” underneath SCV2
i just received my Utada hikaru single collection vol 2 ^^, which i preordered from CDJapan!
@myhikki
Awesome! How many days did it take to get to you? I’m still waiting for mine
they picked up at Nov 22, 2010 4:25 PM, and it reached my hand at Nov 23, 2010 12:36 PM, good service from Fedex. (Btw, i’m from malaysia).
@grayzkule
It was later confirmed a while ago that Yesasia would also have the Bonus DVD after announcing that they would not.
They get negative points for the mixed message but in the end still prove to be the Superior Option thank god. CDJapan is just too expensive.
