@ rahvin. I went onto ticketweb.com and theb contact us and ask us a question. I wrote an email explaining how i’d already booked accomodation and travel to the event. They replied about Q week later saying that the event promotors had secured some additonal tickets for customers affected by this error and that they were on hold and would be free of charge. I emailed back to accept them. It’s a worth a shot!

@Nao Thanks for the advice, i did as you said. They emailed me today and said that due to the nature of the complaint, they have had to forward it to their Correspondence Department for further investigation. Is that what they said to you? I just wanted to know if I should get my hopes up or not lol.

While waiting for 2010 to come,
here’s an article that talks about hikki’s success in Japan for the past decade and also other musicians.

why arent the las vegas & chicago shows sold out? are they bigger HoBs?

  7. illastrate says:

^ I think because Vegas and Chicago have the smallest Asian populations out of all the tour cities. Both HoB’s are similar in size to the others

  8. ruka27 says:

Las Vegas would’ve been sold out if there’s no age restriction. I know some people under 18 who are dying to see hikki here. I am an Asian who lives 15min away from the strip and working class Asians are everywhere here. Also, there are lots of Asian tourists around the strip. When I went to RAIN’s(Ninja Assassin guy)concert here, in a much bigger venue, it was sold out and packed with 80% Korean & Japanese fans from other states. Both shows were sold out. I think it all comes down again to PROMOTION?

  9. illastrate says:

^ I think K-Pop as a whole is bigger in the US than J-Pop. However, you’re probably right about the lack of promotion. There’s no reason Hikki shouldn’t be able to sell out in Chicago or Vegas. I hope it’s at least near capacity come the actual show date.

  10. formoflife says:

You can’t get tickets online anymore through Ticketmaster or Livenation in Chicago. Does that mean you have to contact the venue for tickets? Or is it sold out?

  11. rin says:

Hey I was wondering if anyone wants to buy 2 tickets for $50 each to Utada’s LA show; so $100 if you want both of them. I won’t be able to go anymore, which is a bummer because I was really looking forward to it too =/ If you’re interested, email me at: enigmaticxiii@yahoo.com and we can work out details.

  12. hiritofatsuge says:

Why cameras are not allowed DAMMIT! is that true that cameras are not allowed in the concert? anyone plss answer my question thx !

  13. hiritofatsuge says:

Oh before i forgot next week her tour in LA will be her birthday as well jan 19 ^^

  14. hiritofatsuge says:

i’m always hoping that hikki will have also a tour in asia like singapore indonesia ,hongkong & in the philippines as well ^^
and i want to see some images after the concert tour in the flesh on u blog and also a message from hikki about the sucessful of the concert that’s all

  15. Hikki Love . says:

Apparently, people who have ordered tickets got emails saying that “No camera’s allowed as requested by the artist.” Probably by her record company. Who knows.

  16. Hikki Love . says:

It’s the 15th here in Australia which means that tomorrow night for you guys is Utada’s first concert in Hawaii~! How exciting.

Maybe you guys could bring pen and paper and write down her set list. LOL

  17. [...] from this entry. Utada concerts are quickly selling out, or have been sold out since last year. That I am very glad [...]

Hey, i remember the rumors that her NY show was being moved from the fillmore to the roseland, can anyone either confirm or deny that?? Thanks…:)

  19. [...] [...]
