Wonderful interview! I enjoyed watching it thoroughly. Great questions (hence great answers) and a nice, easy atmosphere. If only all her interviews were as intelligent and interesting as this one. It’s so cute when she willingly tells more about her life, especially about her first boyfriend lol.

That’s cool! Utada wants to collab with Kanye West! That will be a HUGE promo bomb for her. She should make a track with him, release it as a single and WOOOT Utada ft Kanye West – You Changed My World (Lol bad title) in the top ten. And she should release TITO with that song on it. BAM Utada famous. Hahaha go dreaming lol. But when godtada said she had a cigarette, I nearly took one too lol. I hope she doesn’t take a cigarette again, or her voice will be more worse off than it was around Utada United 2006. + She’ll get probs like Koda Kumi has with her smoking. Many people don’t like her for doing that. BUT oh well, since Utada is kind of unpredictable, it doesn’t matter to me. AS LONG SHE DOESN’T STOP MAKING MUSIC!! :p

She should release “On and On” and do a remix for the video and radio with Kanye.

Definitely one of the BEST Utada (and Utada Hikaru, for that matter) interviews I’ve ever seen. Like many have said before, it makes Utada much more of a person, and real. It’s interesting to me, because I feel as though I don’t want to get to know her anymore, and just listen to her music. But I also feel that it’s almost necessary for me, as a fan, to get to know on any sort of level, the artist or band that I’m listening to. I’m beginning to think how odd that is, how rude it is in a way, to invade on somebody privacy, when they are just doing their job. Being a musician, a successful musician anyway, is a sad business. Utada seemed to sacrifice a lot of things for a job that she is unsure that she ever wanted. I feel sorry for her, I want her to lead a normal life. But it’s kind of selfish of me too, because I also want to listen to her music. It’s hard for an artist to lead a double life like that…I think that Utada does it well though. It’s okay for her to be private, it’s okay for her not to tell us everything. It always has been, but I was just too naive to realize it. Utada may do it well, but I’m sure, it’s just never enough.

I saw somebody saying in a certain bbs that remixes for dirty desire are being produced and wonder whether such remixes are official. If that is the case, Utada may reopen the TITO promotion.

@ Hiroto – to be accurate, that video is the secret ending for KH2, and by no means a trailer to the next installment in the series. KH3 has not been announced yet, so it’s unsure whether it is in development at all or not.

However, if KH3 is announced, I would prefer Hikki to continue providing theme songs for the series, so I hope Disney/Squenix raises their offer a little more.

@Hiroto – That’s the prologue to Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, not Kingdom Hearts 3.

@FiresEmblem the new message is about how people will frequently email her and say they saw her somewhere and she’ll be all “What? I wasn’t there!” But she never got the chance to run into a famous person. So she talks about running into someone famous (musshu kamayatsu – I have no idea who this is) and talks about how he was there when she did her first live, but she couldn’t bring herself to say anything.

Nothing at all revolutionary about her new projects :)

Hmmm…I hope Hikki still doesnt have desires to work with a certain Kanye West. He’ll treat her like crap just like he does everyone else. Oh yeah, I dont even like Taylor Swift’s music a bit but she was definitely treated unfairly tonight.
