This could either be for her english or her Japanese stuff. Its good that she’s recording I just hope she returns to the U.S. soon.

The new remix for Beautful worlds suits fine forme, it’s refreshing since BW is such a good song and she never told nothing about a new sor for EVA2.0,so if she is restng and creating some new stuff even it’s in english is fine, don’t you think.
Maybe the promotion for TITO was like a “coitus interruptus” there was so much of her and suddenly nothing, she was sick and needed to rest, practically she didn’t stopped working since ultra blue or maybe since exodus, and she needs a creative explotion, remember she said that she was wondering to do more experimental things when she would be back in japan?.
I hope she’sworking on new good and experimental sound more than that mainstrem (but still good) TITO sound, and yeah, maybe it’s time for a second single but for me i would prefer she go back to japan and do what she do best.

Ha. It’s the guy who “played” his guitar during those performances! I still watch those for kicks — many lolz are had every single time.

The guys myspace says ‘He has also appeared as lead guitarist / supporting vocalist live on world tours and television, as well as on CD & DVD releases, with world renowned and groundbreaking artists such as… …and Utada to name a few.’

That paragraph most probably refers to the performances that she has done to date for her promotions. I don’t think it’s an indication that he is working with her on english material.
Forrest Robinson (and Matt Rhode I think) were both recruited to play in Utada’s band during Exodus, but they have both made appearances on her Japanese album, Ultra Blue. Don’t jump to conclusions guys.

I’m really considering the fact that she/Def Jam are doing a repackaged album. I mean believe it or not repackaged is in. LOL, although that sounds dumb, I mean look at Jesse McCartney, The black eyed peas, and what not. New material with old material seems to sell better, at least that’s what I can tell from the music market. I kinda hope she doesn’t do that though, but maybe this will just be released as a digital single and not a physical copy?…Anyways I’m glad she is back in the studio and I only hope that she doesn’t stop promoting TITO so early in the game.

I agree with sakurablooms13, it would be great if they re-released TITO with new songs.
Being new English or Japanese songs, she needs resuming TITO very soon. Maybe she’s recording and researching for more lives, it would be great hear some lives in the US with her voice recovered.

I love her electronic sounds of Exodus and Ultra Blue better. Real instruments just not really into me.

To be honest I’m happy she’s going for a more instrumental sound. All this experimental stuff is getting a bit old. Its good she’s trying something different.

I like the idea of her using non-electronic instruments as well.

I love electronica and synth style music, but I think she should stop for alittle while just as a refresher, and then if she starts using more synethesizer again it wont sound so expected.

I hope yall are right about her returning to a more organic sound.

I think she can also still stay experimental with an organic sound, kinda like the experimental acoustic sound of “About Me”.

Ghostdog: I don’t mean this disrespectfully, but what are you talking about? The blog post says that the “sources” (oy, that word…) say she’s “recording a new track,” so if the sources are actually credible sources and not some dream RJ had, we can’t really determine that they’re rehearsing for the new single, or what the next single is going to be, based on that information. As much as I’d love to know what the next single is, I don’t think this is really about that.

I’d recommend a PC. You can build it yourself and choose your own price point if that’s worrying you.

I know Utada uses a Mac but I’m pretty sure price wasn’t an issue for her.

It’s only been months,and already you have discarded the album? Surely it would have taken longer…it IS Utada, after all. I mean, this album has only been out for about 4 months. You can’t be sick of it already? I want new material like the next guy, but I don’t want to discard the album as of yet. It’s no wonder Utada may feel overworked.

^I don’t we should be that non-chalant about TITO’s status; I think she was a lot more enthused and ambitous to do this project than any English work b4, and I still believe it can a noteworthy success if this latest news is related to her getting back promoting it! They haven’t even tried releasing it or any singles beyond the U.S. or Japan, so there’s really still alot of hope for it yet, millions of music fans are looking for something new and different! I know if Natasha Bedingfield,Joss Stone,Adele,Sean Kingston,Sean Paul,Rihanna, and others internationally can do it, so can she! I still look forward to what’s next in he Japanese discography nevertheless…

I very much doubt that she’s done with TITO. Some people don’t realize that CBTM was rising on the charts before she got sick. If she didn’t come down with tonsilitis (or whatever its called) the song would have surely broke into the Top 20 by now. The Best Buy, and FYE appearances would have boost the success of the single and album.

gantzman246: that’s really, really not true. In fact, I’m sure you’ll all remember the single fell from hovering just above #60 to being completely out of the top 100 in a matter of a week and a half. And considering how quickly it fell after a VERY slow climb, it was obvious that the song was not going to rise much further from a bunch of appearances at FYE. There is no way in hell that CBTM was going to reach the Top 20 or even the Top 40. Top 50, maybe, if she had done some more appearances, interviews, AND performances, but she didn’t and now the song doesn’t get played anymore and it’s time for a second single or back to Japan.
Don’t get me wrong, I would have LOVED for the single to have broken the Top 40, but it just wasn’t going to happen. Sorry for the harsh reality check.

^ Wow, when did I ever say I hated her? Or for that matter that I wasn’t in love with her now? Basically, you took my words out of context. I meant I’m going to give up obsessing over news blogs about her, because I didn’t want to get myself all excited for nothing when there are no new posts about her. Did I ever say it was Utada’s fault? No. I said someone let me know when SHE comes around again. I think her company is being BS-y if anything. And I never said she didn’t deserve R&R, but when you enter into this kind of career, you’re expected to put out bits and pieces of information every so often to let people know what’s going on. Utada already gets more R&R than most artists, considering a celebrity’s lifestyle in America is a lot different from a celebrity’s lifestyle in Japan. I never said I hated her, so for you to insinuate that is pretty immature in and of itself. I’m just as big of a supporter of her as anyone else on here. That doesn’t mean that as a fan who adores her, I can’t get a little frustrated that I haven’t heard anything from her camp for quite some time. I just personally think it is absurd that I’ve been checking this site every single day for an update, that’s why I said I gave up on her. I can’t be doing this every day. It just stresses me out.

^ But does it really matter if she promotes the album more? Come Back To Me was a wonderful radio friendly song that peaked for one week at #93 on the Billboard Top 100, with all the garbage they play on the radio nowadays how can that song do so badly?
If the song was sung by Mariah Carey, Rhianna, Beyonce or the song would probably be a Top 10 hit and maybe even Number 1. Let’s face it no matter what she does or how awesome her music is the fact is that she is ASIAN and America will never embrace Asians simply because of how the mass media portrays them and the prejudices towards them in this country.
And please don’t tell me it’s not true because if it isn’t explain this: Utada appeared on Z100 in NYC like 3 months ago and did an interview, they played CBTM and even though the station recieved a good response how many times after she stepped foot outside the station did they play that song? Answer: 0, zero, nada, nil, nothing, not even once.

I really believe that if she does concerts in the country and releases more singles, she might have a chance. I hate to say this, but she should follow BoA’s example.
