A brand new commercial has begun airing for Kao’s ASIENCE brand of hair products. The CM, featuring Utada’s “Stay Gold,” is far more elaborate than previous commercials, featuring a narrative and a more cinematic style.

Utada on Waratte Iitomo Tomorrow
Utada will be making an appearance tomorrow on Waratte Iitomo, the live show hosted by Music Station’s Tamori-san. The last time Utada appeared on the show was February 7th, 2007, making tomorrow’s appearance her first in roughly one year.

Utada’s Japanese website has been updated with news that “Fight The Blues,” off of her upcoming album “HEART STATION,” will begin airing on Japanese radio and on USEN beginning on March 3rd. The song will most likely be used to push the album, much like “This Is Love” was used for “ULTRA BLUE.”

According to the latest issue of TV Japan, Utada will be making an appearance on FUJI TV’s Domoto Kyoudai program on March 16th as promotion for her upcoming album, “HEART STATION.” This will mark the first time that Utada will appear on the program, hosted by the Kinki Kids duo. Space Shower TV will be airing a special program on Utada on March 9th in anticipation of the release of her new album “HEART STATION.” The program is called “V.I.P. –Utada Hikaru–” and will be 60 minutes long, featuring new interview clips of Utada talking about the album.

“Stay Gold” Performance @ Utaban
According to a Japanese TV magazine, Utada will be performing “Stay Gold” during her upcoming appearance on Japan’s Utaban program. This will be the lone performance of “Stay Gold” during the TV promo run for the single, with all other performances going to the main A-side, “HEART STATION.”

Utada was featured on tonight’s episode of HEY!HEY!HEY! Music Champ in Japan. She performed “HEART STATION,” complete with adlibbing.
MUSICA: 2 Album Track Titles
According to Japanese sources, the latest issue of MUSICA magazine has a review of Utada’s upcoming album “HEART STATION.” While a full tracklist is not present, the review does mention two album track titles: “Celebrate” and “Niji-iro BASU” (”Rainbow Colored Bus”) Hopefully an official tracklist will be released soon.
